Matrix / Gate

Connected to your world.

The connection between Matrix and the systems, documents and events your organisation works with.

Its role in Matrix

A distinct responsibility.

01

Enter through defined interfaces

Agree which systems and sources a workflow needs and what information may cross each boundary.

02

Read before you write

Distinguish access to information from permission to change a record or trigger an external action.

03

Keep integration explicit

Map data formats, ownership, failure handling and responsibilities before a connection goes live.

In practice

What that means for your company.

Quarantine by design.

Every connector is single-purpose and runs in isolation: it has no access to internal data — not even read access — and receives only the payload of its current task. It cannot see why the task exists and it cannot reach anything else.

Never a straight line inside.

No external system ever connects to an AI employee directly. The only path in or out leads through the Security Grid, which validates traffic in both directions. If a connector is compromised, the attacker holds one isolated box — the blast radius inside your company is zero.

A clear division of roles.

The AI employee decides what and to whom — with facts from Brain. The Security Grid delivers it and enforces the rules. Gate executes the protocol. The connector never knows why, and never holds company context.

The whole system

Useful together.

Company knowledge, connections, software roles and control have different jobs. Their value comes from working together in one architecture.

The actual sources, permissions and review points are defined around the workflow.
